Why Umbrella Books

We chose the name ‘Umbrella Books’ because, well, umbrellas are quite interesting symbols. You know, they’re not just for rainy days; they represent protection and inclusion. It’s like when you’re under an umbrella: you feel safe and cozy. That’s exactly how we want our readers to feel – safe to explore, no matter where they come from or what language they speak.
Umbrellas mean different things in various cultures. Some see them as a shield, others as a sign of good luck or power. It’s as if they embody protection, prosperity, power, shelter, and a touch of prestige, all under one roof. And, moreover, they are a symbol of unity, bringing people together through a love of reading.
